M2 Education are working with an Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ Bedlington Primary School that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in Nursery for the coming academic year on a adhoc basis.
The position is within a EYFS staff team and will involve all aspects of working with the children, assessing and reporting progress, and leading activities across the curriculum, indoors and outdoors. You will also be involved in preparing and tidying away resources in the learning environment, and carrying out administrative tasks. You will be required to keep records for children in your key group and provide feedback about the children’s progress to the class teacher. You will also be required to manage behaviour and support children in their social and emotional interactions and development.
The focus in the school is on establishing a positive culture for the children, where there are consistently high expectations for all children, in all areas of their development.
The position is to start as soon as possible and will be to support on a adhoc/weekly basis for the full academic year. You must have experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably within a EYFS setting, and the qualification required is minimum Level 2.
