M2 Education was launched in 2009 by two experienced consultants who identified an opening in the market to provide a tailored, flexible service that can adapt and deliver simple, cost-effective solutions to the ever-changing education industry.
As a highly established, independent supply agency, M2 Education has built its reputation by providing both clients and candidates with a service that is second to none, further supported by our testimonials.
Over the years we have built an excellent reputation amongst our candidates and schools, having provided supply staff for over 10 years. Through experience we have a great understanding of what makes a great candidate and having worked with the majority of our schools for a number of years, we understand that personalities and interests play a key role in matching the right candidate to the right school.
Hi, I’m Mel and I have been working with Primary, Secondary and SEN schools throughout Cumbria since I started in recruitment, many moons ago! My motto has always been to work hard and have fun doing it…and that is definitely what I do. I have built long-standing relationships over the years and will always go the extra mile for my schools and supply staff,
I have climbed Kilimanjaro, completed the Great North Run twice and done bungee jumps in Greece and New Zealand, however, my daredevil days are on the back burner now whilst I spend time with my beloved Cooper the Cavapoo, renovate the house and start to plan my wedding!

Hello,
I’m Scott, I have worked in recruitment for over 11 years and started with M2 Education just over 5 years ago. I specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in schools across Lancashire.
I have continued to demonstrate exceptional recruitment skills. Alongside my professional expertise. I have a passion for computing/gaming and in 2022 completed my degree in Graphic Design achieving Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1), something of which I am really proud!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my two boys and my fiancé.

Hi,
I’m Meghan I am a Recruitment Administrator and joined M2 Education in September 2022. Before working as a Recruitment Administrator I was a Lead Education Consultant supporting schools in Cumbria.
I graduated from University in 2020 with a BA Hons in Teaching and Child Development, after this I worked as a teaching assistant at a Special Needs school for 18 months before joining M2. I feel with my experience and knowledge I can really relate and empathise with schools and candidates and build solid relationships.
Outside of M2, I enjoy trips to the Lake District for walks and going on city breaks when I can!

Hi – I’m Linda. Newcastle-born and bred, I have been working in the North East branch of M2 Education for almost 5 years. Having previously worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
I moved into Education Recruitment, initially as the Safeguarding and Compliance Officer and am now proud to say I am the Operations Manager for the North East! Away from the office, as a doting dog and cat-mum, you will usually find me at home with a gin and tonic catching up on embarrassing reality TV.

Hi, I’m Dave, working in the Newcastle branch of M2 Education as a Principal Education Consultant for secondary schools in the North East. I came to M2 in 2020 with 14 years of experience, working mainly with secondary schools.
Outside of work, I have a massive passion for music, travelling across the country and overseas with my partner and teenage daughter to gigs. I have played the guitar since I was 9 years old (which is a VERY LONG time ago), and have over 10 guitars littered around my house which I play daily. I’m a complete science nerd and initially trained as a Biology Teacher after leaving University.

Meet our beloved office dog, Cooper – the only team member who can get away with sleeping on the job without getting in trouble! He’s a furry ball of fun, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail.
Cooper takes his job as Chief Cuddle Officer very seriously and is always willing to lend an ear (or paw) if you need someone to vent to. When he’s not busy napping under someone’s desk, Cooper can often be found barking at the backdoor telling passers-by all about M2 Education and the fantastic candidates that we have to offer schools! Despite his occasional antics, we wouldn’t trade Cooper for anything – he’s the heart and soul of our office, and we can’t imagine life without him!
Hi, I’m Bridie I have recently joined M2 as an Education Consultant and love my new team! Before starting my new career in recruitment, I was a Primary School teacher and loved working with children.
As well as my PGCE in Primary Education, I have a degree in drama but try to keep the theatrics to a minimum! During my spare time, you’ll either find me at home with my new puppy Dexter or out with friends and family (with an Aperol Spritz in hand).
