Safeguarding in SEND Schools

M2 Educations’ priority with every candidate we send out to an educational setting is making sure they are vetted to the very highest standards.

As members of APSCo, and holders of the Compliance+ Accreditation, our Safeguarding policy is fully compliant with their guidelines and consists of the following checks:

  • NCTL & Prohibition checks
  • 10 years of employment history with no gaps
  • Professional references covering a minimum of the last 2 years
  • ID checks including eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proofs of address
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the online update service
  • ISA Barred check
  • Qualification verification
  • Signed criminal declaration form
  • Medical history declaration
  • Overseas police check or letter of good conduct (if applicable)
  • Child protection code of conduct
  • Safeguarding Level 1

Whenever we place a candidate in your school, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a passport photo attached. The email confirmation outlines the candidates’ details and a list of all the checks we have carried out including their DBS number.
