Long term jobs in education
A long-term position for M2 Education is anything that is over six weeks (or half a term). The majority of jobs that we receive from schools are long-term positions ensuring job security. When we receive a long-term opportunity, it is often to cover long-term sickness, maternity an unfilled position within a school or ongoing support/interventions for children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
Due to the variety of positions we receive, we guarantee that we will have the perfect job for you whether it is full-time or part-time, when you register with M2 Education, we listen to your preferences and analyse your experience to make sure we find you the job that you’re looking for.
Daily/ Adhoc supply
Are you looking for a better work/life balance or studying a qualification within education?
Daily/ Adhoc supply cover may be an option for you. We can offer you flexibility ensuring that you get the work that you want and need on the days that you are available. Daily supply cover can range from one day to three days cover within a school and in some cases can run for a number of weeks.
With daily/Adhoc supply cover you may find yourself working in the same school or experiencing a variety of different schools throughout your time with us. You will generally be covering emergency staff sickness, training or another type of planned absence.
Permanent jobs in education
Gaining a permanent position within a school can be tough, we register a number of candidates with a view of finding them permanent work within a school.
Having a dedicated education recruitment consultant means that we will support you right from your registration with us, to placing you in a school.
When you register with M2 Education your consultant will go through your CV to make sure that we gain all of the work experiences that will help you secure that dream job within education.

We listen to what your requirements are when wanting to work within education, we provide advice to all of our candidates as well as CPD. We also consider your long-term aspirations as well as your needs short-term.
Communication is key. When working for M2 Education we will only contact you with work that is relevant to your past work history, having a dedicated education consultant means that we are only a phone call or message away for any problems, needs or support.
We will also keep you updated with any opportunities that we have available that match your requirements and aim to provide feedback when appropriate.
Preparation is key when securing any job. When we put you forward for a trial or interview for a long-term or permanent position as a supply teacher or teaching assistant we will give you as much notice as possible so that you have time to prepare.
All of our candidates are paid via PAYE which is outsourced to our payroll company PeoplePAYE. As a temporary worker, you will accrue holiday pay as you work which you are able to claim throughout the year, especially during school holidays.
All payments whilst working for M2 Education are paid directly to your bank every Friday on a weekly basis (a week in arrears), so long as you have submitted your timesheet by the previous Monday at 11 am.
